Skiing in the Alps

Saturday we went skiing in the Alps and it was unbelievable! I won’t bore you with the details I will give you a summary and then post a bunch of pictures. Michele, Natalia and Anna took me to the mountains about an hour or so outside of Torino, on the border with France. It was an amazing day. We skied all day, except for a stop off for a late lunch of gnocchi with parmesan cheese, and it could not have been more perfect weather. The sun shined all day and I would guess it was in the 40s! I can’t wait to go again.

Sorry for all the randomness of the pictures. I am not sure how to upload more than five or change the direction so they are all pretty crazy!

The view when you arrive.

Michele loves to ski!

Through the trees we go!
Natalia on the moguls.

The sign indicates you are NOT allowed to carry your children on your back! The restaurant where we ate lunch.

The lift lines were insane...it was a free for all!

Goofing around at the top...Anna, me, and Michele...me, Anna and Natalia.

They had a moonbounce...and superman!

Anna on the last run.
This run was for experts only...uh oh!

The sunset through the trees and then at the bottom of the mountain. Michele, Anna and Natalia enjoying a caffe after skiing.

I can tell that going to Italy is turning out to be great fun. Do they really ski with kids on their back??
