The day after Easter here in Italy is called Pasquetta and is is a holiday. As Easter was so late in the year it was the perfect day to go to the sea. Elena invited me to go with her and her friends to Sestri Levante which is small town popular with Italians on the Mediterranean Sea. It is about a two and a half hour drive from Torino so we left early in the morning. It was a beautiful day of sunshine and I managed to get sunburnt!

We stopped in Genova on the way home to eat. I had a great pasta made with buffalo meat and also some homemade potato chips with BBQ...talk about an amazing day!

Wow Tara - what an incredible life you are living! Easter in a beautiful cathedral following a dinner cooked in a proper grill (talk about authentic!), and then a beautiful day at the sea. Thanks for the posts and for the amazing photos.
