Our adventure began at O’Hare this afternoon.
Our flight to Brussels was uneventful and our little traveler took a nap for a few hours so had all the energy for our 3.5 hour layover. The Brussels airport is very nice had a kids room with cribs, high chairs, and games to occupy the kids. The toy cars are five speed!
And who knew Belgium was the birthplace of the Smurfs.
Lots of chocolate and even macaroons at the airport too!
The flight to Barcelona was short, less than two hours.
Although Ruth was a bit tired, she stayed awake long enough to enjoy the view from our Air BnB.
The best part of the day was seeing Zia Chiara at baggage claim and getting to catch up after a year!
Justin and Chiara took a quick trip to the market and Ruth could not be happier for hummus and chips!
Justin and Ruth has an early night while Chiara and I explored the town Arneys de Mar. tapas for dinner and a beautiful night sky!
